According to Acacia

    Friday 29 September 2006

So today the world according to Acacia:

Miss A: Mummy can I have an Icypole?

Me: No (as I peer into her dinner bowl) You haven't finished your dinner.

Miss A: OH!!!! I WANT ONE!

mE: You haven't finished your dinner.

Miss A: But I an full.

Me: Well then you don't need an icypole.

Miss A: But my only the half of my tummy that has good food is full. The half that has the bad food is still empty.

Me: Oh!

Miss A: Yes my tummy has two parts one for good food and one for bad. This part(points to right side) is for good food it is full. This side (left side) is empty.

Me: really.

Miss A: Actually it has three parts one for drinks too (she points to the bottom of her tummy.

Miss A: can I have an icypole?

Me: No

Miss A: But you gave me too much.

Me: No

That's the generally gist of our dinner converation anyway. She was probably a bit more detailed descibing her tummy and a bit more insistanyt.

And Eesha's new favourite song:

Bye Bye American pie, drove my chevy to the levy but the levy was dry and the good ole boys are drinkin' wiskey and dry singin' this 'll be the day that i die. . . . what's the rest mummy? They had that song at childcare today Mummy I can sing it now. . . . .

And Miss K today at preschool:

Miss K: Excuse me Excuse me Excuse me

Me: Yes K.... I will call your Mum and tell her that we can come come to J. birthday.

Miss K: No but......

Mrs V.(the preschool teacher): Can Eesha come and play at my house? Please Please Please?

Miss K: No but . . . .

Me: Yes K. .

Miss K: Can Can when you get home can you can you call my mum and can Eeshee come over and have a play?

Me: Maybe I'll think about it.

Miss K: You'll think about it ok!

That is once again the general gist inbetween the other conversation that I was having with Eesha's preschool teacher as we checked out the photo of esha holing the rabbit yesterday. Don't you love the way 4 year olds have yet to figure out that I'll think about it usually means no.

Holidays now. Sort of anyway. The girls have I have to work tommorrow!

Acacia is off to Miss I'S house her second home I swear she spends more time there than at home. She has been busy making things all week to take so that they can play schools on task tags and workbooks. . . Then to the boyfriends house for the afternoon little socialite that she is. No doubt that will bring on the: When can C sleep over?

Eesha is off to Tiwi. . . . . water play day. 11 weeks and 1 day to go. She wont know what hit her when she doesn't have to go any more!
