<p>So once again this week kinda slipped away from me but it didn't go unnoticed that Thursday was Territory Day. I had to admit that enjoyed being able to drive safely though the streets after dark without the fear that fireworks would go off under my car or one would come hurtling towards my windscreen as I drove. I laughted at the tv reports of a man wearing a hard hat and goggles standing on Mindil beach claiming it wasn't safe..... during the last 5 minutes of 7pm.... mostly because I knew it was entirely true.... absolutely unsafe but also oh so much fun. So in some twisted kind of logic I missed the craziness of Territory day......instead the streets surrounding me were quite... no 3am crackers.... or parties all night .. only the sound of Rainbow Lorikeets:
